Our story

A specialist for a specialist market

Darrin Straub founded Advanced Stucco Repair in 1999 on a straightforward idea: facade problems are water problems, and they are best solved by a contractor who understands the whole wall, from the sheathing and weather barrier to the sealant joints and the finish coat. That idea has not changed.

What has changed is our focus. Today our work is commercial and multifamily: office buildings and office parks, shopping centers, condominium associations, apartment communities, restaurants and new construction for general contractors. That is a good fit for Peachtree Corners, where so much of the city is exactly those property types, and where many buildings are old enough that their envelopes need someone who knows how they were built.

We are a trade specialist, not a general contractor. Stucco and EIFS repair and installation, EIFS and Dryvit restoration, sealants and expansion joints, coatings, leak detection and water testing, flashing, substrate replacement and color matching are all we do.
